New Year's Eve December 31, 2016
First the library is transformed for our gala.  Shelves were moved, tables set, caterers and bar staff in place . . .
Door prizes donated by:  Audrey's In Town Boutique, Cut 'n Curl Salon, Downtown Spa, Giant Tiger, Metro, Oldies 107.7 FM, Peter's Computer Solutions, PJs Restaurant, Prior Sports Bar, Rona Arnprior, Solefit, TSC (The Incredible Country Hardware Store, Arnprior) and the Town of Arnprior.

The Fabulous Heartbeats begin to play...

A very special thanks to all our partners who helped to make this such a great event:
The Fabulous Heartbeats, Riley's Catering, Prior Engagements, Cartwright Springs Brewery and Abed Al Issa (photographer).
Also - a special shoutout to Glenn Arthur, Frank Dugal, Nick Smith Centre Staff and volunteers David, Kate, John, Jay, Carolyn, Heather, Kathleen and Jeanette - all of whom helped with logistics, set-up and tear down - thank you!

Proceeds from this fundraising event will be funneled back into adult programming at the library. Our recent survey indicates the public would like to see more educational opportunities for adults in our community.  The funds will be able to bring in guest speakers, cultural performers and more in 2017. Currently we have tickets available for the Sean McCann concert in February.
Below are some examples of recent successful programs.
